Ministry of Sports National Cross Country 2025

The Ministry of Sports / Blue Bubbles National Cross Country series is set to run off on Saturday 13th September 2025 at the St. Andrew's Anglican Secondary School playing field.
Structure
1. The first three races are preliminary and will be contested in 3 divisions Primary Schools, Secondary
Schools and Clubs/Institutions, male and female.
2. The Finals will be contested in 3 divisions, Primary Schools, Secondary Schools & Clubs/Institutions.
Each section will have a male and a female race.
3. In the finals each team will be allowed 8 competitors, of which the first 6 will score for the team, and
the other 2 will be displacers.
4. Competitors are required to wear the uniform of their school/club/Institution.
5. There will not be any age category. The athletes will compete once they are in school

Distance
Preliminary races are approximately (5K -7K (25-40 minutes long).
Final event distances are listed in the table below

Participants
1. All Secondary Schools, Primary Schools, Clubs or Institutions
2. Each team is entitled to one male team and one female team.
3. All entries are accepted
Point System
The team with the least aggregate score wins the section.
Prizes
1. Winners will be announced after the results are finalized for each race.
2. Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams in each division in the final event
3. Prizes will be awarded to the top three competitors in each division.
Transportation
1. The ministry will be providing partial transportation.
2. For the first race at SAASS the buses leave
a. NIS building: A large bus and a small bus going over Grand Etang.
b. Sauteurs, Bus terminal.
c. La Sagesse passing along the eastern main road.
3. For the preliminary races all buses leave at 1pm for a 3pm start.
4. For the finals the Buses will leave at 11:30
Registration for the Finals
1. Registration opens September 30th 2025
2. Deadline for registering for the final is Monday 4th,October 2025
3. Each team can register 8 athletes per division.
4. Registration must be done online at TrackieReg.com.
