Kirani Competes on Sunday in Tokyo

Kirani James will start his campaign in the 400m at the Tokyo world Championships on Sunday Evening Tokyo time which will be Saturday Night in Grenada.
He will run in Lane 5 of Heat 6 of the 400m which will run of at 6:15 AM Grenada time on Sunday morning. Based on his current form and fitness during the 2025 season and looking back at his last race where he ran 44.40 He should get to the semi-final.
Getting to another global final may be tougher this time around with the times he is running and the influx of young talent in the event.
