Biography
Coach Joseph serves as treasurer and Head Coach and brings a wealth of experience in athletics development. He has been with MVP Athletics for since 2020 and specializes in program development and community outreach. Coach Joseph is passionate about creating opportunities for young athletes to excel both on and off the track.
Coach Joseph started of in Track and Field in 1995 after successfully completing the IAAF Level I coaching course. Since then he has completed all levels of IAAF coaching certification courses with his final course IAAF Level 5 Elite Coach. During his years since 1995 he has produced numerous Intercol and National Champions in events ranging from the sprints, Jumps, Throws and middle Distances. Some have gone on to win medals at the world and Olympic Level, Notably Kirani James who won at World Youths, World Juniors, World Seniors and Olympics. Also of Note is Janelle Redhead who won bronze in the 200m at the 2008 World Juniors in Poland and Machel Cedenio who won World Juniors 400 in 2014 after training 3 years under the supervision of Coach Joseph.
